Performance racers have known
for years that there is "no replacement for displacement". Increasing the cubic inches of a motor is the most reliable way of
gaining Horse Power and torque.
This is obtained by lengthening the
stroke of the existing crankshaft, along with a larger bore, so that the
cubic inches are significantly increased. Because of the longer stroke, power
boost of 30% to 40% is achieved, most specifically in the area of
torque which provides greater power and acceleration.
